Work it ! NYC

What a day this has been one of the most inspirational days of my life being able to shoot in Times Square shoot models a bride and groom. I actually dig New York and everything about this place. The fast paced life is amazing I went for a run the other morning while the city's heart was beating!! This place really rocks I will be back and would consider living here!!! I have a ton of images but here are a few these are also on my web site www.coreymatthewsphotography.com I also stumbled upon a Ralph Lauren Polo ad being shot so I took a photo my self look for it in one of the fashion mags and you can say oh Corey Matthews shot that shot while they were working on the set!! Well I gotta go and soak up some more of the big apple see everyone soon!!!!

From STL TO NYC.

Well it looks like I have finally made it to the big apple for some serious networking among the photogs in the industry I was blessed to be able to attend east meets west a very exclusive but small training session among one of the top Photogs in the US , Gene Higa www.genehiga.net But let me back track to the STL, its a tradition that I photograph my good friend/barber, Ramone Boyd and his family, We started early on the Christmas card project which reminds me for any of you that will be interested in booking for the christmas season please contact me asap so that we can get the cards back to send out around the 12th of Decemeber due to the lab running behind due the the increase of orders at this time of the year.. Well I have to get up early to go out shooting in NYC, shooting professional models of course so I will post some when I have time because I have a busy day ahead Im so happy to be in NYC. Although its a very expensive city! I actually love NY.. Well I will give you a few of the images from the Boyd family shoot for the christmas cards hope you like em! and stay tuned for the awesome photographs from NYC!!

Brett Russell

Senior Class President Brett Russell is a very talented guy, I remember seeing him act live on stage during the stage company's premier of CHICAGO.. Well we finally got together and managed to get his photographs shot. I knew that this had to be a unique shoot because he is a unique individual, we were riding to a location and all of a sudden he starts singin along with a popular rap and r&b song! I mean really singing I thought man this class president has some good vocal skills and a great smile to bring to the camera and here it went enjoy.

Good bye Jeremy

Jeremy Mitchell is officially off to the Air Force. Jeremy graduated this past may I photographed him several times. He's my grandmother's pet! Id say, she said to me in a sad tone "Im going to miss him coming to dinner on Sunday's after church! His family and mines are very close knit . You have more than likely seen this 6ft 6 creature at Buffalo Wild Wings working or perhaps in school or on the courts at a Mules basket ball game. Well just thought I'd post to let everyone know he's off to adventure and to fight for our country.
