Claydron has been shooting photography in the St. Louis area for quite some time I met him and photographer Flint Chaney (www.flintchaney.com) 2 years ago in stlouis through friends. I decided to post this image of claydron that I shot while we were doing test shots, ya ever in St.Louis check out Clay photo.

What! My friend Claydron and I were hanging out in the "LOOP" area in St.Louis he brought out his lighting out and went at it. In 30 degree weather! doing a series of test shots I sort of dug this photograph I have more to post this was one of my favorites so far. Although I dont look cold!! And of course this signature look I call this one ready to fire!

Alex Tyler St. Louis

Alex, "Dj Aj"Tyler has been a good friend of mines for several years and counting, he is the reason I have met many celebs in the Stlouis area, reason why I got to shoot photographs of Nelly, Murphy Lee and many more to name a few. Although this past weekend our weather was bad snow ice! Alex was determined to make it down here to my birthday bash at Los Margarita's. he spun lots of old new r&b, reggaeton, hip hop blends. He works as a disc jockey on KATZ FM 100.3 the Beat and he also has his on entertainment company, Derrty Dj's which consist of several of St. Louis's well known dj's. I decided to snap a few shots of him before he headed back to the Lou!
Ps. You ever go to stlouis look him up or listen to 100.3 the beat, he will sure make you jump!!

I have to give a special thanks to John and Wendy Long they have been so great in helping me get set up at the Bloodworth house during the photographs with Santa, John being the great friend that he is always helps me bring the equipment and helps me get set up and ready to fire!! Wendy does the job of printing the images and also chooses the custom mats that are given to each client with the photograph. With out them I think my Sunday afternoons at The Bloodworth house would go Crazy!! But they remain the great friends they are and help me through it all Again I want to say thanks.

The Esquivel Family

I'm sure if you have been to Poplar Bluff I know you have paid a visit to Maya's Mexican cuisine. Mexican food is one of my favorites and also the employees always treat ya right when you come in I go at least once a week preferably on Friday evenings, nothing like the great atmosphere and margaritas. Well enough about fine dining and drinks. I used to tell Francisco one day that I wanted to shoot him and his family while working at Hibbett sports and he and I would converse when he would come into the store. I would also talk about photography with him and camera's etc. Looks like one of my wishes came true to photograph him and his family. I started capturing he and his family this past May when his daughter Franzia had her first Communion.I shot lots of photographs and mingled with the family and have been trying to learn more about the Mexican culture since then! Which is very interesting to me Well here are a few of the many shots of them for their Christmas Card session Feliz Navidad!

Martessa and the girls

This has been a faithful customer of mines for the last 3years or so. Martessa's favorite is to have the custom holiday cards designed we have been through a numerous amount of colors this year was really simple. I personally really like the earth tones that are shown in this greeting card.

The Bloodworth House.

Blane Wylie

This was a tough shoot, but I managed to pull out some pretty good shots of Blane Wylie a very smart 3 year old that has very good vocabulary. His mom Katie kinda had to bribe him with M&M'S in order for him to smile!! But he eventually got with the program and let me create some good images. here are a few and time is definately beginning to tick for custom christmas cards in sizes 4x5.5 on fine art paper. and 4x8 sized photo paper. heres a sample of the 4x5.5 sized card enjoy!(above)

Just fine

This Thanksgiving holiday weekend was a busy one for me trying to entertain family and guest and also it was about being grateful for what you have. I thought Id show some of my family members to everyone, I also had a few sessions with family members which was pretty easy. Here are a few I really like Danielle, Betty and Ericka, This is my mothers niece and great niece.I think that my mother is grateful to be able to take a photograph with her niece and great niece!! I call this photograph "Just Fine".

The Reeves

Kim, Sherri, Pam and I were classmates. I felt honored to come out on Thanksgiving day to shoot their family portrait. They all live away from the Bluff, except for baby sis, Pam; but what a good time for a photograph to be taken. I will post more later. Gotta run!

TheTripplett family says Happy Thanksgiving!

Everyone, meet the Tripplett family! What a family of people this was truly a spare of the moment shoot, I get a phone call from Chari, asking to come to their residence to help record some memories of their Thanksgiving eve with a family photograph. It turned into several mini sessions of the entire family! Who could resist Lil, Eden, she is such a doll always smiled for the camera and the faces I made!! she was a great asset to the family well heres a few enjoy!

The Jones children,

Everyone meet Landon, Lillianne and Baby sister Laynie, the children of Rose and Dr. Donald Jones. By the way I went to school with the parents of these children they were fun to work with, both of them trying to keep up with their baby sister Laynie!! The job was rather fast paced but I managed to get some good shots of Little Laynie which was a chore!! I posted a few from their shoot which I shot on location at their beautiful home which sits on a cliff overlooking the river enjoy! Well Lamar arrived..

Pretty interesting friday for Lamar as we went into his shoot, he brought some fly gear and I had the music, of course a lil Kanye West,and some southern blends from dj jelly, took us into some pretty cool shots. while we edited the photos we chilled to JayZ American Gangster Soundtrack, for everyone who hasn't copped, it go get it. Well enjoy these photos these are just a few of some of his shots.. They Rock!

Fall has arrived

Fall, one of my favorite times of the year, leaves are falling colors seem to pop, the sun shines bright and its starting to get dark around 5 and the everyone seems to settle in and prepare for the next day. Also when I see colors like this Thanksgiving seems to come to mind. Sometimes we all need to stop and take a good look around and appreciate what we have. I bet our troops in Iraq would love to see this scene.
Please pray that they make it home safe for the holidays and pray for world peace. Also I would like to say a prayer for Kanye West. I could never imagine what he is going through at this time in his life. If you ever get a chance listen to his "Late Registration" cd check out song Mama. I share the same relationship with my mom just like Kanye does.

Lamar Brown

Call this guy hip hop, definitely true hip hop, meet La Mar Brown, a guy that knows what he wants do with himself as he grows as a hip hop artist. Anyone from the Bluff that has a connection to local artist in the hip hop world has to know this guy, well La Mar will be coming back to the studio to get some shots done for his portfolio as he makes a mad dash for Los Angeles. Sometime this spring/summer he plans to attend a recording arts school in LA. I just posted 2 shots from his visit he isn't a stranger to my camera or studio, he actually was featured in my show at the art museum back in Feb. his photograph was tittle "real hip hop" in which he mos definitely is! if you see him around wish him well on his journey oh and look for more shots of him real soon !

James Spurgeon

I think that we would have to tittle this one "work hard and get good results!" This is James he is a student at the local college, studying sports medicine, the guy works hard in the gym where I attend. When I and a few friends seen this fella, we thought that he had a "look"about him as if he belonged in front of the camera, or perhaps in commercial. Maybe one day he will try to pick up some side gigs as a model for you know, Abercrombie, etc. He resembles those in shape guys in the ads with the hot!! super hot girls!! These are a few good shots of James we sort of chose to go up, Although he did say he would start some weight training with me! Wish me luck!

WIL HILLIS

What a day! another senior down, everyone meet Wil Hillis what a guy ! mr. will came to the studio not a stranger very energetic, telling stories of turkey hunting and high school& Friday nights hanging out with his buddy mark crews a senior that I shot recently. Wil and I went to the Bloodworth house to finish up some of his senior portraits well these are a few I had to post check em out.
